Peer Reviewer Opportunity Now Open!

WorldChicago is seeking volunteer Peer Reviewers to evaluate applications for the 2021-2022 Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative Fellowship Program (YTILI), the U.S. Department of State’s exchange fellowship for emerging entrepreneurs from Europe. YTILI will engage a cohort of 60 young European entrepreneurs from 45 European countries in a series of professional development opportunities. As a Peer Reviewer, you will be involved in the selection of young European entrepreneurs for this life-changing fellowship. Peer Reviewers are leaders and professionals within the entrepreneurial sector or are recognized innovation thought leaders. We hope you join us in supporting citizen diplomacy and the transatlantic partnership between Europe and the United States!
Overview of the Volunteer Peer Reviewer Position
Peer Reviewers will play a direct role in selecting the 2021-2022 Cohort of YTILI Fellows. Peer Reviewers will evaluate the applicant’s readiness for participation and success in the YTILI Fellowship Program based on a rubric and training provided by WorldChicago.
Timeline
February 15, 2021: Application to serve as a Peer Reviewer is due
February 26, 2021: Peer Reviewer applicants are notified if they have been selected
March 1 or March 12, 2021: Orientations on the role and responsibilities of the Peer Reviewer. Each Peer Reviewer must attend one, 90-minute orientation. Please note: Orientations will be recorded and available for reference.
March 15 – April 15, 2021: Review period
April 15, 2021: All reviews of YTILI Fellows applications are due
